Product Information
In New Zealand Maori mythology birds are very special and are the messengers of the Gods? Eagles, Harriers and native owls pass between the worlds of man and the Gods along spiritual paths. As a result, Maori consider birds sacred.
As a tribute to our birds and our own inherent spirituality I have created these delicate and simple, stylish silver feather earrings. For you, these earrings are a reminder that you can access the sacred and the spiritual, and you can also tap into the wisdom of your ancestors.
Further, these earrings feature the Maori word “Aroha” on them, with their English translation of “Love” on the reverse. Custom wording may be available – please contact me directly to discuss.
Each feather is hammered from recycled, eco-ethical wire into a lightweight earring that comes in two lengths. Long earrings measure 5cm and short earrings are 3cm.
You can select earrings from your choice of metal options. 100% Recycled copper, brass or fine silver, and eco-ethical alluvial 9ct Gold from New Zealand.
The ear wires are hand-crafted and made from 100% recycled silver (or 9k gold for the gold earrings)
