These barrier bags contain GMO-free corn starch, PLA and PBAT and are suitable for both commercial and home composting. These bags can be displayed on a metal prong stand with a backboard (sold separately)
Please note that compostable bags can no longer be used by consumers to carry home fresh produce from NZ grocers or supermarkets (but can be used to pre-pack goods). Our compostable bag range is designed to breakdown in approximately 90 - 180 days (depending on compost environment). Composting results in organic components being released (carbon dioxide and water) with no harmful residues.
