A little about me: 

My name is Jignasha Kumar. I study Law and Psychology at University. I am 20 years old. I enjoy creative projects like jewelry making, painting, woodworking. I have been a jewelry artist by hobby since the age of 7. This hobby began from collecting beads that fall off clothes and jewelry at family or religious events. 7 year old me could not bear to see such beautiful beads go to waste. So I would collect them and when I had enough, I would make some form of jewelry out of it. A little secret, I would break some of my jewelry on purpose to be able to recreate it. Over time my hobby grew and my parents allowed me to purchase materials for jewelry making. Today, I create my jewelry from materials that I carefully source and patterns that I design myself. I’m really passionate about beading and jewelry art. I have many designs and styles of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and key chains.

About the business:

I am trialing this online jewelry business to generate some income out of my jewelry-making hobby. Rest assured, I take great care in sourcing quality materials and making the pieces. I am trying to make the business environmentally sustainable by using recycled materials in the jewelry and the packaging.
