The Forest Ringlet Butterfly is found only in New Zealand and is listed by the Department of Conservation as “At Risk, Relict”.  The risk of this beautiful animal going extinct will increase through changes in climate, ongoing habitat loss and mortality from aggressive non-native predators (in particular wasps). It seems like a daunting challenge but every small action will help – as described  on the jigsaw box.

This  jigsaw puzzle:

  • Is made in New Zealand with 100% certified recycled cardboard.
  • Comprises 500 assorted shaped large (around 3 cm between the width and length edges) interlocking pieces that are stored in a recycled cotton re-usable drawstring bag.
  • Makes up to a striking 68.8 x 49.3 cm picture (the same size as a typical 1,000-piece puzzle).

Ten (10)% of your payment  will be donated to the Moths and Butterflies Trust of New Zealand (https://www.nzbutterflies.org.nz/).
