Harnessing the deep moisturization of our signature New Zealand grass-fed tallow or coconut oil, this formula provides a rich, smooth lotion base to deliver effective botanical insect-deterring oils without dehydrating or irritating skin prone to bug bites and stings. The tallow or coconut oil creates a protective bug-blocking emulsion while combatting free radicals from environmental exposure.
Citronella oil has been used for decades to naturally ward off pesky mosquitos and ticks. Its volatile compounds mask human scent receptors that attract bugs. When applied topically, citronella also repels through skin absorption. Its fresh, strong aroma also helps disguise the appealing human scent.
Similarly, lemongrass oil’s potent lemon scent works to effectively confuse insect smell receptors that identify humans as hosts. Combined with citronella, this duo provides strong mosquito confusion for minimized bites from these disease-carrying pests.
Finally, peppermint essential oil’s sharp mentholated smell acts as a potent repellant while providing a cooling, tingling skin sensation. Peppermint’s natural antiseptic action also eases any resulting itch and inflammation if bugs do manage to sneak through.

New Zealand Grass-Fed Tallow:

Extra Virgin Coconut Oil:

With a 92% saturated fat content, it penetrates well & protects skin proteins. Medium-chain triglycerides improve skin healing, and reduce inflammation and redness, It contains about 6% natural SPF content to help defend against UVB raysIt has antioxidants to counter aging, free radicals, and oxidative particles.
