St Valentines Day is coming up – do you celebrate it..?? I think every girl would like to say ‘Yes’ to this..but it’s more than likely we’ve all had our fair share of disappointing Valentines Days.
From the devastation of not receiving a single card when we were at school to the bitter pill we swallow later in life when we have supposedly found our ‘Valentine’ but he chooses to ignore/boycott the whole thing on the grounds of….whatever he can think of. Been there…??!! Yep.
Last year was a bit of a surprise for me though. I was summoned outside whilst making dinner (yes…making my own Valentines dinner…) and led to the woods next to the tree house in the garden. Imagine my surprise when I was presented with these rather beautiful wooden sculptures.
So that’s where he had been all afternoon…. I mean, they’re not going to make me smell nice and they certainly won’t look nice on my bedside table but I thought they were pretty cool all the same.
A very good effort. I wonder what (if anything) will happen this year…??
